Consistent with COPPA, Sectual will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. Furthermore, persons under age 18 are not permitted to use Sectual. You agree that Sectual cannot be held liable for any hacking attempt or any other unforeseen situation in which your data may be compromised. Your IP Address is recorded with each post you make on Sectual and is retrievable by the message board staff. You agree that Sectual has the ability and right to remove, edit, or lock any account or message at any time should it be seen fit. You also agree that any information you enter on this message board is stored in a database, and that 'cookies' are stored on your computer to save your login information.
If you are a registered member of Sectual and have supplied your email address, you may occasionally receive an email to update you about new features, ask for your feedback, or inform you of important news about Sectual.
If you have registered on the Sectual message board and no longer wish to be a member, you may request to have your account deactivated. To request account deactivation, please contact the Sectual Webmaster via firstname.lastname@example.org from the email address registered to your account. You may also request account deactivation by logging into your account and sending a Private Message to an Administrator. You may reach an Administrator by Private Message or by using the Contact page.
Account deactivation results in your username and email address being removed from the account, therefore disassociating your identity from the account. The deactivated account will no longer be accessible, and Sectual deems deactivated accounts permanently closed. Deactivated accounts will not be reactivated under any circumstances. Posts and threads made by the account will still appear on the Sectual message board after the account has been deactivated. By registering on the Sectual message board, you agree to these terms.
Additional Registration Rules
1. You may not use your real name as a handle on the Sectual message board. Furthermore, using the same handle that you use on social media or other platforms is not advised. Remember that Sectual is a role playing community, and it is best to leave your other personas at the door.
2. Do not register if you think there is a chance you might want your account deactivated later. If you have any doubts, simply continue to post as an unregistered user. If you ask for your registered account to be deactivated, you will not be allowed to register another account, and you will only be able to post as an unregistered user in the future.
3. If you are easily offended by insults, crude humor and other explicit content, please do not register an account. The Sectual message board is not intended for individuals of weak mental and emotional constitution.

You may link to an article and post your thoughts about the article or summarize the article in your words, but you may not post any part of the article.
All material you post on the Sectual message board must be your own material. Period.
Posts that do not adhere to these rules may be removed or edited into compliance.
